#KaChaHai Douyin Challenge
As Douyin is a trendy short-video platform among Chinese teenagers recently, Taokaenoi would like to create fun moment after the COVID-19 situation in China by arranging this challenge on Douyin. On the other hand, Taokaenoi aimes to spread the word about our Chinese name ‘Laobanzai’ together with introducing Taokaenoi icon to all consumers. As a result, KaChaHai Douyin Challenge was arranged during May 19-25, 2020.
This challenge is easy to join that the users just post the creative video on Douyin by performing FUN moment freely as if eating seaweed with our special effect from Taokaenoi. Besides that, we also use some Douyin KOL and SBfive, our brand ambassador, to create the trend when the campaign was started.
The rewards, such as cash, seaweed and our cute Taokaenoi premiums, were given to those who had very creative postures or received a lot of LIKE or comments on their post.
At the end of the campaign, there are more than 14,000 participants joining this activity. There were 74 million views of the videos with the campaign hashtag and 2.2 million engagements. The feedback was very good and even beyond our expectation. Nonetheless, the most important thing is that Taokaenoi can create fun moments for the Chinese consumers during the time of pandemic around the world.
